Hi there, we’re looking for two responsible roommates to fill two lovely rooms and join a sublease with us from Jan. 15 to March 31 (with the option to stay and join the next lease). The rent would be $900 a month in our 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, right at the border of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights. Utilities, monthly cleaning, and other needed housing supplies usually r between $70-100 a month.
LOCATION • One block from the Franklin Ave. 2/3/4/5/S station, so arod 25 minutes to Union Square • 3-5 blocks from Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum • Tons of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores within one block!
THE APARTMENT • 2nd-floor walk-up • 5 beds / 2 baths • Two fridges • Central heat / AC – a wonderful amenity to have in NYC 🙂 • Shared appliances include kettle, toaster, blender, pots and pans, etc. • New washers, dryers, and bike room in basement 🚲
THE ROOMS • Both have closets, high ceilings, and large, south-facing windows with LOTS of s! 🌞 • Both will be furnished
THE ROOMMATES • 3 girls working in tech, nighlife, and dance • Mid-late 20s-mid 30s, fully vaxxed, queer-friendly, and trans-friendly • We are friendly, mature, and responsible, and hopefully you are too!
ADMIN & $$$ • Since you’d be moving in halfway through Jan., rent for the first month would be $450. Security deposit is $900. Both of these need to be paid upfront, so total move-in costs would be $1,350.
