I’m going away for three weeks or a month–am flexible. Start Dec 15 or 20, more or less, stay for three weeks or a month. It’s a well-lit, clean, appealing room in a nice 1st fl. brownstone apt on a handsome quiet block in Sugar Hill, a half-block from ABCD (IND) trains. There will be one easygoing roommate (who’s usually away or in his room). My room is smallish but cheerful, with two windows, one on backyard. Rm otherwise has a lot of books (phil., lit., anthropology, etc.–I teach and write), a comfortable futon, a desk, chair and good closet space. My own style and space are rather bohemian, as pics show, but the apt itself, let alone the pretty building and block, are on the bougie side. There’s a full kitchen and a nice living room; good bathroom (good shower pressure). It’s a great, comfortable 2-bedrm apt, you’d be in one; close to cafes and pretty much anything else you’d want. Looking for a quiet, polite, mature, relaxed, easy, problem-free roommate. Rent is 1250 for a month, so pro-rated if you stay less than a month, plus 500 deposit to be returned when you vacate. Wifi and utilities included. This probably only works if you’re in town and can come by and see and meet, which I hope that you can. Email correspondence the best for me, please.
