I’m leaving my month-to-month room in a 3-floor brownstone with a backyard. House is shared with 2 women and 2 men in their 20s-30s. This is a ique housing situation with certain quirks but any way you spin it—for the location an absolute steal! Ladry and dishwasher as well.
The room is SMALL (10’x6’). I’ve fit a double bed (which I would love to sell for cheap—it’s not the one pictured), a small desk, and a small dresser comfortably but this room is definitely for someone with minimal possessions.
I want to find someone for my roommates who:
Has a strong sense of accotability about cleanliness. Cleans up after themself and also regularly takes responsibility for more involved cleaning.
Is proactive about problem solving. The house belongs to a couple who moved out of the city and rent out the rooms individually. They have a building manager as a point of contact but it’s important that you can take initiative to solve shared issues.
Prefer a woman 24+ either from NYC or who has lived here for several years. I’ll be moving out by 11/1 and would arrange to be out sooner if that’s desirable.
