we are looking for someone to fill a bedroom in our three bedroom, two bathroom apartment near the myrtle-broadway jmz stop. rent is $1,100 a month excluding utilities, which can vary. the room has two large, floor-to-ceiling windows, a built-in closet, and comfortably fits a desk, dresser and full size bed. the living room is very spacious, and the kitchen comes with extensive storage. the closest ladromat was recently renovated and is just arod the corner. the area is very lively with many bars and restaurants and a ton of nightlife.

as for us, we are a guy and girl, both queer and in our early twenties. i am a grad student and she works for the city. i’m an avid climber, and she likes to do arts and crafts. since we both work, we’re usually out of the house during the day on weekdays. we keep the common areas clean and are generally pretty laid-back and friendly!
right now, we’re looking for someone willing to commit to a three month lease starting on november 1st, with the possibility of extending for longer if it’s a good fit. if you’d like to store things in the apartment a few days before move-in, we can work that out. also, you can purchase the bed and frame currently in the room if you would like.
to secure the room, we’ll just need a security deposit ($1,100) and then rent on the 1st. please let us know a bit about yourself, and we can find a time to meet in-person or virtually to chat more or see the room.
p.s. sorry but no pets :(, i am allergic!
