I have a furnished guestroom with a queen bed available for short term stay while I’m traveling. I’m also offering a very reduced rate in exchange for basic cat-sitting. You’ll have the whole house and private garden to yourself.
The house has everything you will need for a short stay in Brooklyn, including one private parking spot. There is one queen bed in the guest room, and an airbed.
You will be the only guests/ residents in the house other than our friendly indoor cat. You will have access to our guest bedroom and all areas of the house except 2 private bedrooms and the basement. We’re offering this reduced rental rate in exchange for some basic pet care and house-sitting duties. Our setup is closer to a home exchange where you have the benefits and responsibilities of staying in a private house. It’s an oasis in the city, but it’s not the same as renting a hotel room or staying in a B&B.
We’re in a safe and friendly neighbourhood on the 2/5 subway line in Flatbush, Brooklyn (8 min walk to subway station). Quick and easy access to all the fabulous neighbourhoods of Brooklyn and NYC.
You should have some basic experience with pet care. No smoking, visiting guests, pets or parties.
Must have good references.
