Hi my name is Kalvin. I’m looking for a fresh start and to move out on my own and was convinced by a friend to come up to NYC. I live in North Carolina currently, but have been downsizing for a move for the past couple months. I fortately wont be able to visit the city to tour apartments, so will have to go off of video calls and photos. I will be able to move out after I have confirmation the room is available for me, I can pay all costs when I get to the city, not looking to get scammed lol.

About me, I’m 21 years old and this will be my first time moving out. I work a remote tech internship right now, and am also an online student studying software development. Outside of work I’m a pretty laid back person, I love technology and spend a lot of time on my computer. I enjoy solo travel and have been to Japan and The Netherlands so far. I love pour over coffee and enjoy cooking from time to time, I can make a very good homemade pizza, not as useful skill a in NYC.
Preferences, my budget is 1200. I am looking for a single room in a shared apartment. I’m looking for something in Brooklyn arod Bed-Stuy would be best. Other than budget I don’t have really any other preferences, I guess all I can ask is that you’re chill. My move in date is kind of in the air right now, I’m waiting on confirmation from my work but I want to get a head start on an apartment.
