My name is Ellas, I’m a musician/songwriter with a personal studio in East Williamsburg. I also work with super 8 film and dabble in the visual arts, but it’s all music centric.

I work on tugboats in the New York Harbor for a living with a two week on/two week off schedule and am completely gone away from home those two weeks on. I’m getting tired of paying so much for my own place that I only sleep at half the month, so am looking into renting a room preferably in North Brooklyn/South Queens, but am flexible on that.
I’m going through an amicable separation with my wife and I got the cat. Ideally I will find a place that would not only allow him, but wouldn’t mind looking after him while I’m on the boat. I know that may be tricky, so I might have to re-home him. Trying to avoid doing that as we have a very special connection, but please don’t hesitate to reach out even if you don’t allow cats if you think I would be a good fit.
I clean up after myself, am civic minded and have a good natured social ethic.
I’ve gone month to month at my current apartment in Ridgewood after completing the lease and just need to give my landlord 30 days notice before move out.
