–Hey everyone; Looking to Fill ONE OPEN room in a 3 BR/1BA.
–We seek a professional or mature student for ASAP move-in: Room is ready now to be occupied!
–Currently there are 2 Professional Male Roommates, both late 20s; one works as a mover/graphics designer and is basically out of the apartment all day for like 10 hours for 6 days a week; quiet and keeps to himself. The second roommate works for a homeless advocacy non-profit, attends commity board meetings, and travels frequently to Washington DC for this work. The current roommates have a staggered schedule so there is no conflict with using the common areas like the BA or Kitch.
–Prefer those interested in a long-term stay of 10-12 months.
–This is the largest room with an X-Large closet taking up the entire wall, measuring 120 sq ft with three windows with open park views, and is the corner room. The room gets great light.
–The room is currently furnished because prior roommate took everything out, although it is possible that some basic furnishings can be provided. Room will fit queen/full size bed easily with room for desk/dresser, chair, etc…. The room is also ready for you to just slip in a window AC as the moting has already been installed.
–This is on a 2nd floor of a 3-story walk-up building on a quiet residential block. Very quiet building. Small property so we know all our neighbors.
–This is an older building so there are no amenities like gym or rooftop, but the rooms and apartments are larger than most newly built buildings.
–Utilities are about $ 50-90 per person additional per month depending on usage.
–We are 4 blocks from the A train on Nostrand Avenue Stop–15 minutes to Manhattan (Downtown-Fidi-Wallstreet) for those going back to the office!
–Ladry, supermarket, restaurants, bars arod the corner on Tompkins Avenue.
–Seek commicative, respectful, non-smoking, no pets, no couples.
–The current roommates are long-term subletting: leaseholder Sarah is assisting in the search for a replacement roommate; if you email or text she may answer and set up appointments to show the apartment but the current roommates, Boris and Aaron, will be able to meet/ chat via video or in-person depending on their schedule!
–Please email or text with your name, how long you plan to sublet for, your age, whether M or F, and a little bit about why you are moving to NYC, also provide sometimes you are available to view or tour the it either in person or via remote video.
