This is a studio apartment located in the old barn on our horse farm. We are not looking for monthly rent. Instead a work/live situation, living for free in exchange for about 12-15 hours work per week.
The studio is simple. There is no AC but the barn is pretty cool so it doesn’t really get hot. There are electric baseboards for cooler months and wifi.
The apartment is very insulated and cosy in cooler months. We have not yet fully winterized so the pipes freeze in winter but we are hoping, with the right help, to remedy that this season.
There is ladry in the new barn and lots of space for parking. We can also offer a vacant stable for storage of any personal belongings.
Skillset; preferably handy but would also take organizing skills. We will be needing help to move materials and furnishings, and any hands on work with our DIY projects on our airbnb its and future glamping its.
There is potentially the opportity to make extra $ in the future with site cleanings, retreats and other streams of income on the farm as things build out but we dont have a solid time frame on that. Just moreso and FYI
We are looking for a minimum of 3 month commitment to long term.
Some personal references would be ideal.
About us; We are a couple with a new property who need a hand. Im an interior designer leaning into my passion for outdoor retreats and my partner is a photographer. We r two existing glamping sites close by. We feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful setting and we’d like to start building a team arod us to help move the project forward.
