I’m subletting my one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Astoria while I’m traveling. There’s a live-in super in the building to help with any day-to-day issues.
The apartment is in an amazing location, at 30th Ave/29th Street (just one block from the N/W 30th Ave stop). It’s also near the M60 bus, which makes it easy to get to both LaGuardia Airport and Columbia University.
Rent is $2,000 per month. You’d just cover electric and internet, which I’ll forward to you monthly. The internet rs about $50 per month.
The apartment is a grod-floor it (with just a couple of steps up, so it feels elevated and secure). It’s fully furnished and includes a queen bed with two nightstands, a sofa, dining table, two large bookcases, shoe storage, and a TV stand (TV not included). There’s a massive bedroom closet with tons of storage and 2 pantry closets. Most of my personal belongings like wall art and decorations will be removed. The apartment is clean and pest-free. Cats allowed, no dogs fortately.
It’s available for one year starting in early January 2026 – this is NOT a lease takeover as I am coming back to live in this it. A shorter stay is negotiable, but preference will go to someone who can stay for the full duration.
