Got a sweet basement setup for rent in a great part of Bushwick. It’s pretty much your own little world down there, and you’d only be sharing the main apartment with me.
Your basement space includes:
Bedroom with a walk-in closet (check out the pics)
– Your own half-bathroom – no sharing needed
– Big living area – you can totally fit a huge couch (like my 10-footer) and still have room for your desk and stuff (it’s about 8.5 ft x 20 ft)
– Your own access to the backyard (from the basement!) – it’s shared with one other apartment, but honestly, it’s usually pretty empty
– We’d share a smaller upstairs room for when friends crash or for extra storage
Awesome location, super walkable and safe. Cafes, restaurants, bars, yoga, gyms, and Maria Hernandez Park all close by. Street parking’s not bad, and ladry/drop-off spots are a block away. Super laid-back apartment energy.
I work in branding/design, mostly from home (9–5ish), and I travel a lot (3–4 months a year). I’m low-key, social now and then, but not loud. Utilities are arod $100–$150/month. Ideally looking for someone through March 2026, but open to shorter stays.
