Big bright front-facing master bedroom in beautiful 2-bedroom 2-floor apartment in Park Slope available for daily or weekly sublet from April 16-May31 (somewhat flex/ possibly sooner or later), furnished. Weekly or full stay preferred.
The room:
– approx. 140sq feet
– front-facing onto Prospect Ave, with three big south facing windows that provide great natural light
– hardwood floors
– brick fireplace and tin ceiling
– sole bedroom on the second floor—nice and private
– AC
– The room is furnished – with a big table, a closet it, and a full-sized bed. Bedding included if needed.
The apartment:
– living room (in kitchen) futon, dining table
– kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher—back facing onto garden (no access)
– bathroom with shower and tub
– washer and dryer also in bathroom
– pictures of kitchen /living space are old (I’m out of town atm) so things look slightly different now
The area:
– South Slope (South Park Slope) on Prospect Ave, near 6th Ave.
– short walk to 7th Ave (F/G subway), and 15th St/Prospect Park (F/G), and Prospect Ave (R subway)—which is about 5 minutes to the many connects at Atlantic Terminal
– voted New York Magazine’s number 1 place to live in New York City: very safe neighborhood, good nightlife, lots of great bars, cafes, restaurants on 5th Ave and 7th Ave, many supermarkets/ banks/ other amenities
– 10 minute walk to Prospect Park—great for walks/ rs, picnics, and the Celebrate Brooklyn festival over the summer; 5 mins to Greenwood Cemetery also great for walks and events.
– short walk to two YMCAs/ other gyms and yoga studios
The price:
– $110/ night (including AC, heat, hot water, ladry, gas, electric, and internet); $180/night for couples
– possible discot for weekly/ monthly/ or full time period
– to book: full price up front plus $100 cleaning fee; Venmo/Zelle/CashApp preferred

– Hi, I’m a writer, artist, and teacher, I also work as a gardener in the summer—so I work a lot, but often from home. I have a new roommate moving in Je 1, so the space is available til then.
– I’m tidy, but not obsessive; sociable, but respect bodaries; and appreciate open commication in the apt.
You:
– The dynamic is best with someone who works out of the apt 4+ days of the week, since I work from home and work a lot, but I can be somewhat flexible here.
– Pets: I have an extroverted cat, fyi.
– Smoking: no cigs/vapes/420 in the apartment; plenty of public green spaces nearby
