DETAILS:
We keep two studios in this building and use this studio for storage and occasionally for photo shoots, and we work in another studio for day-to-day activities.
We’re seeking a studio mate interested in sharing this corner space studio. On your days, the entire studio will be yours to use (not shared).
The studio has a photography setup with an electric 3-roll backdrop and an available, cleared office desk and chair by the window. The room has wrap-arod north and west windows, including Manhattan skyline views. Opening swivel hopper windows provide easy ventilation, and blinds offer controlled photography lighting options. We have inventory on shelves along the wall and in the loft area.
Scholes St at Morgan Avenue: The minimum rent for a share of the space is $400/month, and the total area is 310 sq ft with 16-foot ceilings. We’re looking for 1 or 2 people to share with, and we can decide upfront on days or maintain an adjustable calendar so the space will always be private on your days. An example arrangement is Tuesday-Friday, $750/month and $400/month for Saturday and Sday. We can work out a deal if you’d like all six days. We’re open to other arrangements and do not need regular daily access, but we will need to keep a day open for the occasion we need to photograph products; let us know what works for you!
Please email if you’re interested– Leave your name and share what you’d like to use the space for. Thanks!
We’re open to different uses, but it’s generally a quieter building, so loud, sustained machine noise isn’t suitable. Occasional bursts of machine/tool noise and listening to music are no problem.
– Private studio split AC/HEAT it
– Freight elevator, drive-up loading dock with double-door entry to the building and single-door entry to the studio.
– Second (top) floor-level corner space with surroding windows and a view of Manhattan.
– The windows are easily opened, and blinds are installed.
– There are two clean restrooms on the floor, one with a painter’s slop sink and one with a regular sink.
Utilities included: Electric, Wifi, Air Conditioning, and Heat.
