Hi, my name is Benny Qualmann, and I’m moving to New York City from Orlando, Florida in early December with my 13-year-old dog. I’m coming in with about $1,000 total, and I’m looking for a safe, clean place for the two of us to land while I get settled.

I already have a line on a serving job in Manhattan, so I’ll have steady income shortly after arriving. I’m a triplet, and my mom, brother, and sister all live in the city, which is why I’m trying to move closer to family. I’ve already spent a lot of time in NYC over the years, and I know the city very well, so I’m comfortable navigating and settling in quickly.
My mom would take me in, but she already has a pitbull and her building won’t allow a second one, so staying with her temporarily isn’t possible.

What I’m hoping for:
Move in December 7-10th (ish)
$250 for the first month while I start work
After month one, I can reliably pay $700–$1,000/month
A room or shared apartment anywhere in NYC or nearby
Must allow dogs – mine is older, calm, trained, and very friendly.

I’ve included pictures of me and my dog so you know who you’re talking to. I’m clean, respectful, easy to live with, and just looking for someone willing to give me a chance while I get on my feet and be closer to my family.
