Rent is $950 per month + $150 for utilities, ladry, and Internet (so essentially $1100) First month, last month, and depost required by January first but the room is available for sublet til then.

We live about ten minutes walking from the Bedford-Nostrand G train stop, and also not too far from JM, and a longer walk from the AC train stops.
The house is a brownstone (3 floors) with three full baths, a semi-accessible roof and a spacious backyard (suitable for organized social events and gatherings.)
Food wise we are somewhat commal, looking for someone vegetarian and freegan friendly. No cigarette smoking in the house. We are writers / artists, or activists of some sort. We are a diverse group open to all ages. Most of us are involved with commity projects and mutual aid in the neighborhood and we help maintain a commity fridge in our front yard!
We are seeking an easy-going, laid back but clean, and responsible chill housemate.
