Newcomers needn’t worry about getting to know your neighbors. Ours is an active and friendly commity, offering plenty of opportities to connect. Each week is buzzing with get-togethers. On Mondays, we celebrate the week’s birthdays with a coffee hour. Wednesdays are often game nights or popcorn & movie nights. Fridays are for bingo and pizza, less it’s the third Friday of the month; that’s reserved for a potluck dinner with more game playing. Once a month, members of the commity go out for dinner. And, of course, we celebrate all the major holidays with memorable parties.
It doesn’t take a special event, however, to bring NRG neighbors together. Someone is always grilling or hosting a cookout, and you’re sure to see a friendly face while out for a walk on our beautiful seven-and-a-half-acre property. Just by spending time in the commity room, ladry, and kitchen, many tenants form lifelong friendships.
The safety of our residents and visitors is of the utmost importance to the staff here at Newark Rose Garden. Each of the bedrooms and bathrooms in our its features a pull cord which can be used to alert the staff of an emergency. In the winter, our dedicated maintenance personnel make sure to keep parking lot and sidewalks plowed and salted. That same maintenance crew is also committed to resolving maintenance requests by the next day – and on the same day whenever possible. When it comes to verifying the identity of visitors, the downstairs apartments feature peepholes, while upstairs its feature brand-new intercom systems. Dedicated entrances for every apartment cut down on traffic and noise.
We’re always working to make our commity more beautiful and enjoyable for everyone who lives here. Over the last few years, we’ve installed new, energy-efficient windows and doors in each apartment to enhance security and reduce heating costs. Another project completed recently was the resurfacing of our parking lot.
