Hi we’ve had 20 wonderful years at this beautiful Camp Cottage on the lake. It’s not for everyone but if you are an adventurous, outdoors lover and in good shape this is a gem in the rough! We are at the bottom of a motain (actually Bare Hill)) so you cannot drive to it. We do have steep motain driveway up above which is off East Lake Road and we do have shared parking there for a few cars & some steep Stairs that need repair so you could stay there while working on these things. We are 600 feet below East Lake Road where our Cottage is. It’s easier to come by boat because we are directly on the water. And we are in the cleanest , deepest & beautiful part of the lake with awesome ssets! It’s a rustic handyman special and you can live here “as is” but there are repairs to be made. We have a sawdust toilet right now. We disconnected the toilet and installed the Sawdust one because the DEC asked all the “High Banks” People that are directly on the water to pump the septic up to the Midway or get an incinerator toilet or a compost toilet. We chose the latter temporarily til we could get a Grant to r it up the hill. We were rewarded the Grant for $10k and now waiting for the Engineer to give us the plan. He figures it will be approx $20k to do it minus the $10K we were awarded towards it. We’re offering it at a low price for someone else to do the work. While we have stairs to get down we discovered it was easier in season to boat in our Guests, Children Dogs etc from Vine Valley. It’s only a 4 or 5 minute boat ride and has a cute General Store with a little Beach so it’s a pleasant pick up and drop off area for our guests. If you are yog and adventurous that can do stairs & interested in this fully furnished Camp/Cottage then we are including Working Pontoon Boat & Boat Hoist, Kayaks and all Beds, Furniture & Appliances, Pot Belly Wood Stove and Fireplace. We have a new Architectural Metal Roof with Lifetime Guarantee so you can enjoy it “as is” or put in some money and time to make it a nice Family Cottage. Oh yeah there is space at top of our property to build another little cabin too if you want to be in woods just off the East lake Road. Looking for a Cash Buyer, no Mortgages, we own free and clear so you could move in and enjoy now . We usually turn water off end of October but due to good weather still on. If you heat tape the water lines then you can stay open all winter.
