I have one room available in a clean, spacious two-bedroom apartment just five minutes from Myrtle-Wyckoff L/M trains. The apartment is spacious with a nice kitchen and a large bright living room. The room features a southeast-facing window with great morning light, measures 14′ x 7.5′, and includes a closet. I can provide a desk, chair, and bookshelf if needed. The apartment is on the second floor of a well-maintained walk-up with roof access and a responsive landlord. *The TV, and some of the plants and furniture pictured are gone.

Ridgewood is a great neighborhood with lots of new apartment buildings and businesses popping up and is only 20 minutes from Union Square. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with lots of convenience stores, grocery stores, ladromats, restaurants, cafes, bars, buses, and trains nearby. It is also walking distance to the lively Jefferson area in Bushwick.
About me: I’m a 38-year-old professional who works in the city (typically 1-11pm). I’m easy going, like to eat really healthy and cook a lot. I like traveling, photography, music, volleyball, and nightlife. I keep the apartment very clean and clutter-free so you must be clean, clutter-free, and willing to share in the cleaning responsibilities and pick up after yourself. If you are messy and/or have a lot of stuff this would not be a good apartment for you. Must be able to provide employment verification and credit check. Sorry but no couples, pets, drugs, 420, tobacco, heavy drinking, or alcoholics.
The room is available September 1st or later, potentially sooner. Rent is $990 per month plus a $1,490 security deposit (first month + security due at signing). Utilities and household expenses are split 50/50 with FIOS 300/MBPS internet being $28 per person and gas/electric usually about $70 per person depending on time of year. Looking for someone to stay for a year or more. I’m in no rush to find a roommate so looking for someone that’s very reliable and is a good fit.
