Hello there!

A new roommate need for the second bedroom in my apartment. Seeking a dog-friendly person, as I have a rescue pup named Black shield. I’d also prefer someone who is not into throwing parties or having guests sleep over.
About the building: This is secure building in Bushwick, right next to Williamsburg. There is an elevator, parking, a courtyard, and gym. It’s been here since 2018 & there are longtime owners and tenants.
About the apartment: It is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with a shared living room and dining room. I have a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and a small terrace. There is a small gym in the building that is dergoing renovation and is expected to open by the end of the month.
About the room: It is furnished with a full bed, desk, TV and some light dressers. (We can talk about moving in your own furniture, if you like.) There is a closet with a pretty high ceiling. Pictures show my extra clothes in the closet and dressers, which will be emptied for the new tenant.
About the neighborhood: Bushwick near E Williamsburg. Closest train is the J/M on Flushing Avenue (or Myrtle/Bway) and a 12 minute walk to the Montrose L train. Plenty of buses nearby. There is a public pool very close by called the Bushwick Pool. Grocery stores nearby: Noll Street Foodtown and the independent Horseradish on Broadway, which is a great shop.
I would be down to split the cost of a cleaning lady (I have a great one) every month (rs about $55 each). I have Verizon internet, which is included in the rent. I’d like to split the ConEd bill, which is usually between $40 to $60 per month.
