My roommate and I are looking for two more to fill two large basement bedrooms, each with its own second, private entrance with a key code, for a 12 month lease starting August 1st in a 4 bed/1.5 bath duplex in South Bushwick, close to the L and J/Z lines (or transfer one stop away/walk further for the A/C), for 899/month each (once you’ve signed the lease there’s a chance you’ll be able to move in early). The landlord/owner is fortately strict on the 550 credit/proof of income 40x rent, or guarantor (80x I think). On the other hand they can be relied on to fix things; for example they replaced the over-the-range microwave with a new one a few months ago. Central air, washer and dryer in the building, commal patio/backyard, and multiple real supermarkets nearby. Empty room pictures are old, but bedrooms are expected to be mostly furnished, and the living space will probably have little existing furniture and a lot of flexibility. There should at least be a couple of wardrobes and a miniature fridge with a separate freezer for downstairs if wanted.
