I have a fantastic apartment in Perugia, Italy, right smack in the center where all the restuarants are. My son is looking for an apartment in NYC for August and beyond, preferably in or near East Village. Please only serious inquiries. My apartment is also steps (literally) away from the famous Università per Stranieri Italian language school as well as surroded by restaurants, shops and transportation out of town. You can fly into Rome and take a 3 hour bus ride to the center of Perugia and walk to my place. It is large, clean and sleeps six.
