Hello everyone. My name is Victor, I am 23M and I will be moving to NYC to start a research job at Columbia University on July 1st. I will be making 64K and I am looking for rooms or anything that costs arod $1600. I signed a 1 year contract with an option to extend to 2 years, so I’m looking for long term leases.

I am mexican, and as such have no credit score, but I can provide proof of employment and my Visa documents. Please note I will not be able to make any payments til I am present in the US. Don’t try to scam me as I won’t fall for it.
A bit about me: I am an Econ major, and I would say I’m a pop culture enthusiast, I am into films, music, tv shows, and video games. I am particularly fond of Doctor Who and Pro Wrestling right now. I also watch all american sports, NBA, NFL, and also love football/soccer and road race cycling. I also like philosophy and math, and I sometimes work on music or writing of my own. I exercise occasionally (gym, rning, hiking even) and don’t drink alcohol. I speak french spanish and english. My politics are very left wing.
I’m a pretty chill roommate, I mind my own business, and expect to be mostly working or chilling in the room. I do like hanging out with my roommates and I have lived with Japanese, Colombians, French, Mexicans, Americans and many other cotries. I am queer friendly, and have no problem with mostly anything. I’m looking for the Joey to my Chandler …
Things I need in the appartment
-A kitchen.
-Washer Dryer in the building or it.
-A window (can’t do basements it’s horrible).
-Max 45 minute commute to Manhattan.
-I have a gf so I’d like people who are chill with her visiting every few months.
-Some sort of bed in the room.
-Good wifi. Hopefully utilities can be included.
