WYNDHAM INN ON THE HARBOR RESORT IN NEWPORT, RI is A GREAT VACATION SPOT to celebrate Father’s Day and start your Summer adventures.

This Wyndham resort is located on the harbor close to everything, so you can park your car and walk to every attraction in Newport to boating, restaurants, shops, scooter rentals, etc. that surrod the resort. The resort is on Thames Street near where it bends and becomes America’s Cup Street. So, it’s conveniently located along the historic waterfront, centered nicely on it and is a short walk to many attractions and the Water Ferry.
We are the owners and renting our STP suite (a standard room plus a parlor, one bathroom) with a kitchenette that has a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, 2 stove top burners but no oven, a toaster, coffee maker, etc.
The suite has 2 queen beds in two bedrooms and a queen-size sofa in the living room.
Our it is adjacent to resort’s Social Loge with a large-screen TV, full kitchen, gas fireplace, games and books.
There is a ladry room on the same floor. Free High-Speed Wi/Fi Internet Access.
Our it comes with a complimentary parking for 1 car, which otherwise is expensive in Newport (and can be hard to obtain for an overnight stay).
This resort also has an on-site Restaurant overlooking the Newport harbor front with live music on the weekends, a rooftop Sdeck.
There’s also a boat pier off of the back of the resort. If you walk or drive to the end of the Bowen’s wharf pier, you’ll find a shed there that steam fresh lobsters and crabs for take-out. You can eat them there or bring them back to your accommodations to enjoy with melted butter and lemons. Newport is known for Gilded Age Mansions, historic sites, and yachting. Ask the front desk of the resort if they have any discot coupons for some mansion tours. Also Newport is a home of the International Hall of Tennis with a great museum in walking distance!
There are shops and restaurants along one side of the resort and the historic waterfront is on the other side.
It’s in a wonderful location. There’s a beautiful view of the harbor from the resort’s sroof.
We are renting our Je 14-21, 2025 week that includes the Flag’s Day, the Father’s Day and the Je 19th celebration for
$1499.
This price includes tax, parking fee which are significant in Newport!
