Hi, I’m a Harvard graduate student in design & architecture, and I’ll be spending the summer in NYC working at a design agency. I’m looking for a comfortable room to call home from Je 1 through August 31. Here’s a bit about me and what I’m hoping to find:

About Me:
I’m a 24-year-old graduate student coming from Cambridge to intern in the Big Apple’s design scene. I’m friendly, responsible, and creative – the kind of roommate who enjoys a cozy evening sketching or chatting over tea after work. I identify as queer and value an LGBTQ+ friendly, inclusive home. Love fitness and staying active. I’m tidy, non-smoking, and respectful of shared spaces – I know how to clean up after myself and keep common areas cozy for everyone. I’ve lived with roommates throughout dergrad and grad school, so I’m experienced in being considerate!
What I’m Looking For:
Dates: Summer sublet from Je 1 to August 31 (total of 3 months).
Rent Budget: Up to $1200/month (happy to discuss utilities and other costs).
Room: A private bedroom in a shared apartment, ideally furnished (bed and desk at minimum.
Location:
Flexible – anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens is great, as long as it’s within a reasonable walk to a subway station. I’ll be commuting to Dumbo for work, so easy transit access is a must.
Roommates & Vibe:
Looking for queer-friendly housemates who appreciate a cozy, creative, and respectful vibe at home. I’d love to live with friendly and open-minded people – maybe fellow students, yog professionals, or creatives. I’m down for the occasional shared meal, art night, or Movie night, but I also respect everyone’s personal space and busy schedules. Overall, a chill, clean, and inclusive household where we can feel at home and comfortable being ourselves.
