Best Prime Soho area, bordering Greenwich Village and West Village. Just three blocks from NYU and Washington Square Park, walking distance to multiple subways, on both east and westsides, surroded by bars, shops, and nightlife, all on a quiet and relaxing street—like the East Village and LES.

About Me
I’m a respectful male NYC native, who values diversity, without the politics, has lived with males and females, straight and gay, with no issues, am accepting of different backgrods and religions, less you’re a born-again-asshole.
I cook mean Thai food, will clean the sink, even if it’s not my plates, will bring home a bottle of Grey Goose, wine, or goodies for the commity pot.
I’m social, enjoy a good party, occasionally drink, but am not a frat boy. I’m 420 friendly, but doesn’t smoke, and enjoy get together but leave the overnighters for the weekends.
I’m into fitness, played D1 football, fought Muay Thai professionally, and can teach kickboxing and breakdancing.
I’m looking for similar active, responsible, & non overbearing roommates. I appreciate open commication and won’t tolerate passive-aggressive or narcissistic tendencies.
Roommate Preferences
Roomie Musts:
– Respectful & responsible M or F,
20s early 30s students or professionals
– Part-time WFH is allowed, but must have in person classes or at office at least a few times a week.
– No kids, substance abuse issues, passive-aggressive, anal retentive, obsessively loud behavior, or stage five clingers need not apply.
– Pets Allergic to most cats, (hypoallergenic considered if left in room)
– house trained dogs are welcomed, less they’re ugly and chew on my Prada loafers. Ugly Ex. dog has a cataract or looks like a walking rug.
Roommie ideal:
You have a healthy and active lifestyle, enjoy sports, and can teach me a party trick, or ballroom dancing. Gym partners, co-trainees for the next half marathon are always wanted, with openness to friends and new experiences, but are not codependent, with an derstanding of others need for alone time.
Significant Others are allowed but should not infinge. Overnight guests are 2x per week max, less discussed beforehand and no couples per room.
Stable schedule for weekdays, arod 7am to 1am wakeup sleep schedule preferred.
Application Process
If you think you’re a fit, please reply with:
– A brief description of yourself (age, profession, interests, daily schedule or routines, etc)
-MUST include a Facebook, LinkedIn, or other social media profile to avoid scammers.
If everything fits we will exchange contact info and connect with a FaceTime or live video chat to discuss things face to face to avoid scammers.
– Include full dates requested, full months are preferred.
– After exchange of info, no transactions, money exchan, keys transferred, or anything signed, til we speak and view the place, LIVE either in person or video chat.
– Include the move-in date, length of stay, and flexibility, and one pet peeve about living with roommates,
Any references from former roommates or landlords may be requested along with a small $40 backgrod check fee to secure..
– All potential roommates will have commication with each other before moving in.
Once again: No brokers, children, or boring individuals—no couples either. Also, mention if you have a significant other who would sleep over, who are allowed but no more than 2x a week. No everyday co dependent people or sleep overs:/
Costs
First month’s rent and refdable security deposit of one month due upon move-in, with a one time $200 cleaning fee. If accepted after a live viewing and discussion. A $40 fee for a backgrod check, will be submitted before all contracts or other monies will be exchan. Future rent paid on or before the 1st of the month.
Monthly shared costs include: utilities (varied), 2 gig internet $40, and rental insurance, $15 a month per person. Monthly utilities may be separated from refdable deposit.
I also have a large furnished 1-bedroom apartment in the Meatpacking District (by the Google building) with King sized bedroom, WD in building basement, available in the beginning Je slightly flexible dates earlier, til the end of the summer that i will post, so feel free to inquire about that.
If you can’t appreciate the humor, we might not mesh. All you need is your clothes and a willingness to have a great time in the big apple.
